BMR (basal metabolic rate) is the energy your body spends at complete rest to maintain vital functions. TDEE includes BMR plus all other expenditures: digestion, physical activity, daily movements. TDEE represents your actual total expenditure.
Can my TDEE really vary by 500 kcal from one day to another?

Why am I no longer losing weight even though I eat the same?
